Sofia Sica
Research Intern
Sofia joined ABA as a Research Intern in August 2025 after completing the Master in Arts Management and Administration at SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy, where she is now based. She holds a BSc in Economics from the Universidad de Montevideo, where she received an academic excellence scholarship, and completed an exchange program at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome.
Prior to ABA, Sofia worked for several years at a multinational financial services company, where she gained experience in financial analysis, project management, and business intelligence. She contributed to global reporting and budgeting initiatives, led cross-regional projects, and supported leadership with data-driven tools to improve decision-making.
Alongside her professional experience, Sofia has pursued continuing education in behavioral design, product management, and data storytelling, equipping her with tools to integrate analytical rigor with creativity. She especially values the opportunity to combine innovative approaches with the power of data to support transformation and informed decision-making in the arts and cultural field.
Currently, she trains in improvisational theatre, strengthening her skills in adaptability, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
