ABA offers a hands on approach to helping members turn insight into action. ABA serves as an embedded research and advisory partner, through Implementation Workshops. This work is designed to extend your team’s capacity and accelerate progress, with clearer pathways to action.

  • ABA’s Demonstrating Impact workshop series is designed to help your organization develop a report that conveys impact, whether it's an annual report, a departmental statement, a donor report, or a new impact report. This multi-month process guides you through the critical phases of impact report development, including: identifying impact outcomes, guiding data collection, developing stories of change and crafting a cohesive narrative.

  • ABA's Strategy Alignment Workshop aligns teams on a common goal through candid interviews, aggregated and synthesised findings, and facilitated discussion. Prior to the workshop, ABA will interview key staff to gather feedback and opinions on the topic, which is then aggregated into an anonymized presentation. This information gathers key themes, thoughts, and perspectives, which then serve as a guide for a facilitated conversation to align the team on the organization’s goals. Workshops are typically 1.5-2 hours in length not including the interview portion. Follow-on sessions may be useful depending on the results of the first session.

  • ABA's Employee Engagement Action Planning Workshop is designed to help you create an implementation roadmap based on the results of the ABA employee engagement survey. ABA will facilitate a 1.5 hour discussion to help your senior team determine your organization's top engagement priorities and the activities needed to transform insights into improvements. ABA will help you stay accountable for progress against those engagement priorities through periodic check-ins.

  • ABA’s Customer Journey Mapping series is designed to give your organization the tools to map the many customer journeys of your audiences/visitors, donors, partners, and stakeholders through a series of 4 virtual structured and interactive sessions. These sessions bring together an inter-departmental team (e.g: across marketing, development, box office) to walk through the principles of customer journey mapping, applying them to one target customer example.
