Subscription sales are predicted to increase, but still be a smaller percentage of overall earned income than single ticket sales for a majority of organizations.
Concessions, paid classes, and rental events will continue to be important sources of revenue.
Most organizations are optimistic that fundraising will increase in 2024 — though there is slightly more pessimism around amounts of government funding that will go to arts and cultural organizations.
A majority of organizations do not expect a budget deficit this year.
