Our latest ABA Executive Benchmark explored different strategies and approaches to optimize email communications and ensure successful subscriber communications.

Highlights from the survey include:

  • 42% or organizations send emails to their subscriber lists once a week.

  • Around 30% of respondents don’t track new subscribers.

  • Targeted content has proven most successful at reducing unsubscribe rates.

  • Over half of respondents don’t offer Frequency Options for Subscribers.

  • Most respondents report seeing greater open and click through rates for emails sent in the morning.

  • Limited staff capacity is one of the biggest challenges when communicating more effectively to subscribers.

  • Click-through rates metric most often used to measure success of email campaigns.

  • Around half of respondents are considering automization and triggered campaigns.
