Key Benchmarks on Fundraising During Reopening

Our latest Arts Executive Poll asked arts leaders how they are prioritizing different fundraising sources into the near future and how their contributed income streams stand today. Highlights from the survey include:
Although institutional giving has historically had a minor contribution to arts organizations' contributed income portfolios, the majority of arts leaders anticipate increasing activity and funding levels from foundations over the next 3 years.
Individual giving levels report to have slightly increased across the last 2 years, with a strong expectation of further growth into the near future.
80% see the relevance of government funding waning over the next 3 years and anticipate this funding source to decrease.
