Corporate Fundraising

Our latest ABA Executive Benchmark explored the state of corporate fundraising at arts and cultural organizations.

Highlights from the survey include:

  • At most institutions, corporate fundraising makes up less than 10% of all contributed income, and has not changed drastically over the past year.

  • Artistic programming sponsorships are the most common focus area for those organizations taking a more specific approach to their investment in corporate fundraising.

  • Most corporate gifts are under $25,000.

  • A quarter of organizations who offer naming rights to corporations include a morality clause in their contracts.
