Arts and culture leaders across the globe ranked designing business models for financial sustainability as their number one priority for 2026, according to The Advisory Board for the Arts' (ABA) annual research agenda survey of approximately 100 arts and culture executives.
ABA's October 2025 survey spanned North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, and asked executives to identify their most urgent priorities. 57% of respondents selected designing financially sustainable business models as their most important priority, 45% selected using data analytics to inform customer-centric decisions, and 38% pointed to the future of AI in arts and culture.
